Mornington Peninsula Plunge Wine Tours get you closer to the people and places behind the wine.

Plunge offer personalised wine tours where inside-knowledge and good friends turn a day on the Mornington Peninsula into a fun wine adventure filled with the flavours and theatre of visiting cellar doors and working wineries.

Founder, Arthur O’Bryan enjoyed a twenty-year career marketing wine before writing extensively on the region.  His book about the first vineyard, Elgee Park is introduced by Australia’s most influential wine critic, James Halliday AM.  Arthur established Plunge Wine Tours for travellers wanting hand-crafted wine experiences with a distinctly luxurious edge.

A morning seaside picnic in either Somers, Point Leo or Shoreham begins with a bottle of premium sparkling cuvée, local cheeses and other delicacies.  Then private wine tastings see winemakers join in (Arthur’s wife is renowned Willow Creek winemaker, Geraldine McFaul). A short drive to Flinders pier introduces fresh mussels gathered from Harry's fishing boat, cooked and served later at a restaurant lunch of delicious flavours with the perfect glass of wine.

Arthur is a wine enthusiast whose encyclopaedic knowledge of the region is perfect for people wanting a day filled with fun while learning about the finer things in life. Intrigued?  Take the Plunge!
