About Arthur owner of Plunge Wine Tours
Plunge offers private Mornington Peninsula wine tours from the perspective of a story-teller, writer, poet and local wine industry professional.
From 1997 to 2015, Arthur O’Bryan enjoyed a marketing career organising wine events such as Pinot South and the annual Stonier International Pinot Noir Tasting which saw more than two thousand guests attend this prestigious event in Melbourne, Sydney, and London.
For a decade he was Global Brand Manager at Stonier Wines before he began writing about the Mornington Peninsula with two books about Elgee Park Vineyard, commissioned by Baillieu Myer AC, with a foreword by Australian wine industry titan, James Halliday.
Previously he worked in the film industry organising national marketing for Danny Boyle’s Trainspotting The Spice Girls’ Spice World The Cohn Brothers’ The Big Lebowski and Rowan Atkinson’s Mr Bean.
Arthur created Plunge specifically for wine lovers; from the casual drinker to the discerning connoisseur. Tours are designed to be inclusive, full of stories and fantastic fun. He has always been a passionate advocate for the region and continues to search for the richness and textural wealth of great Mornington Peninsula wine.
